There are a number of factors that went into the development of this site. I would like to discuss a few of the "less noticable" aspects of this website. Light Blue, was chosen as the background color, as this was one of Daniel's favorite colors. 

His writing, was compiled from his personal collection with the assistance of his friends, family and teachers at SWIC where daniel attended school. In reading Daniel's writing, consider the fact that sometimes he had typos, and some typos are intentional. All text is unchanged and in the original format, as it was created.

The video clips were filmed in March of 2007, near the time of the Crystal Gala. "About Daniel" page, was compiled from an obituary listing, and will be updated to reflect the ongoing spirit of Daniel McCree. "For Good" was among the music selections at the memorial service held at MCC church.

"These are the days" is an unreleased video produced by Freddie Mercury (Queen) just prior to his death of HIV related illness. Freddie hid his illness from the world until the day preceding his death. The significance of this, is Daniel too, chose to smile amist great challenges in his own life, always bringing joy to those around him.

A special thanks goes out to Daniel's dearest freinds in Chicago, Portland, Baltimore, Miami, and Hawaii for their contrubutions of Artwork and photos.

The developers of DanielMcCree.org are commited to continuing the causes that Daniel held close to his heart, and to sharing the life and visions of our beloved Daniel. Daniel held fast to his belief that family, friends, love and art is something we each should cherish, and share with all we encounter. It is in this spirit, that we have developed this site, to not only share and celebrate Daniel's life, but also to provide an ongoing dialog with those who have been forever changed by his life.

The guestbook, is open to anyone wishing to contribute to this site, in words or photos. Entries are reviewed before they appear online. We have not, and will not eliminate any entries that are posted in good spirit. Free speech is important to each of us. Should you find any content inappropriate, you are welcome to contact us, to have it resolved.
