Daniel was an active participant and leader of several ministries of MCCGSL during the time the congregation met at St. Johns United Methodist in the Central West End.

It was his Sunday ritual, to wake up in Belleville, and take the metrolink train west into the city. (Notoriously arriving for worship about 10min late, but nonetheless- Never a reason not to come. One one sunday, he was SO late, the service was over... So he wandered accross the street to another service being held.
